I am proud to call Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo my home!

As the sole owner of OptoDoc eyewear and eye care, I am excited to be part of this amazing community!

I am humbled to have the opportunity to provide optometry services to this wonderful region. I am also grateful for the continuous support that allowed me to reinvest and build my practice in Fort McMurrray.

I was born and raised in Edmonton, where I attended Harry Ainlay High School, and finished my Bachelor of Sciences at Concordia University College of Alberta. During my college days I was introduced to Fort McMurray through some of my fellow students. After I graduated with my undergraduate degree, I moved to Fort McMurray and worked for Syncrude and Suncor for two years before pursuing my optometry education at Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry.

During my optometry studies and rotation clinics in the US and Canada, I gained broad and varied experience in primary eye care, contact lenses, ocular diseases, pediatric eye care, low vision, and visual therapy. I also received an award for clinical excellence.

After graduating and completing my Doctorate of Optometry in 2011, I was fortunate to move back to Fort McMurray and call it home for my family. This region has provided so much opportunity to so many, including me, and I am genuinely excited to practice optometry in the community we have chosen as our home.
